Nov24: Cheap Comes Cute

Hello!
Today, it was University again. First my technical-drawing-computer-course, then a seminar for painting and colours. Underneath, there are two examples what be basically did until now: painting squares in systems of colours, well covering. It's a bit boring, but even this is to prefer to dry-as-dust linguistics. I mean, I love English, but this course of friday.. let's say it doesn't count.

I wore a dress, bought in this extra-cheap shop, for just 4 Euros. Kind of Twiggy-like?? With its beige and white stripes and two cute pockets at the front, I liked it from the first view, but wasn't sure about how to combine it. I did it with black tights, black boots (Deichmann), a black cardigan borrowed from my rockabilly friend, a small black belt and a scarf from my mom with many shades of blue in it.

Task: two complementary colours, here green and magenta, and the shades between it mixed up with white. and guess what: all in squares, please!

Task: Painting a striped paper with the colours from blue to yellow to magenta and back, cut the stripes to -surprise- squares and then stick them side to side to create "interesting" combinations of colour. And let me tell you that I really went to my limits of creativity here..

By now, I'm not sure whether I have to work tomorrow because Christos, my boss from the restaurant, didn't phone me until now. Well, let's see..

Love, Milena
